Monitoring Rates:  (Effective February 1, 2009)

Hunt Security Systems is pleased to offer you the following rates for services and monitoring of your security system. These rates are competitive and reflect the true value of the services offered or required. We realize that some alarm companies offer lower rates, however history dictates that these companies rarely survive and most likely won't be around when you need them, or even worse your account will be sold to the highest bidder!

Residential:

Basic residential monitoring: $20.00 per month
System reports all alarm and trouble signals as they occur as well as a minimum of one automatic test code per month.

Residential optional services:
GSM / Long range radio:             $12.00 per month
TCP/IP High Security:                $16.00 per month (Broadband internet connection required)
GSM or TCP/IP ONLY (no phone)  $29.00 per month

Commercial:

Basic commercial monitoring: $25.00 per month
System reports all alarm and trouble signals as they occur as well as a minimum of one automatic test code per month.

Commercial optional services:
GSM / Long range radio:            $16.00 per month
TCP/IP High Security:                $16.00 per month (Broadband internet connection required)
GSM or TCP/IP ONLY (no phone)  $34.00 per month


Unsupervised Opening and Closing (log only) with monthly report from panels event buffer:    $12.00
Activity report on demand from panels event buffer:    No Charge (Max 3 per year)
Supervised Opening and Closing (*) with monthly report:    $15.00
ALone ALarm / Man Down Alarm supervision:    $30.00 per month
Access code data base management (within 24 hours of request):    No Charge
Remote diagnostics and emergency configuration:    No Charge

(*) Rates for openings and closings are based on 60 signal transmissions monthly.  Excessive signal transmissions (IE: arming and disarming the system several times daily) may result in additional communications charges.

Commercial "Secondary Systems" at the same physical address:
Secondary systems requiring additional account numbers as determined by our engineering department will be charged an additional $6.00 per month for basic monitoring plus the full price for any options required.

Commercial Fire Alarm Systems:

Stand alone or combination Fire and Burglary system with GSM or IP dual pathway as required by new standards effective January 2009. See brochure on Honeywell Vista32FB ULC Approved GSM or IP system.
Please see document regarding ULC and NFPA rules for monitoring fire alarms.

January 2009 all Fire Alarm systems require dual pathway signal transmission capabilities.  This means that monitored fire alarms will require a single telephone line and either a GSM radio system or TCP/IP communications. Most systems can be upgraded by adding either the GSM radio or TCP/IP communicator providing the existing equipment can communicate in Contact ID format.

Combination systems where Fire and Burglary are combined on the same system:    Same as above where burglary is at no additional monthly charge, however options will be charged at the full price listed above.

Stand alone Fire Alarm System and stand alone Burglary System:    An additional "Secondary Systems" account number will be required.  Please see "Commercial "Secondary Systems" at the same physical address above.

Commercial Environmental Monitoring

Where a commercial building or farm requires monitoring of crucial systems such as temperature, power, water and other environment detection systems only (separate and not including Fire and / or Burglary) the basic commercial monitoring rate will apply.

Where a commercial building or farm requires monitoring of crucial systems such as temperature, power, water and other environmental detection system as well as Fire and / or Burglary, no additional charges apply providing separate account numbers are not required.

Payment Options

All monitoring fee's are payable in advance.  You can arrange payment with our office for the following cycles:

Monthly:                                        Pre-Authorized Credit Card or,
                                                        Pre-Authorized Debit from account
Bi-Monthly:                                   Pre-Authorized Credit Card or,
                                                        Pre-Authorized Debit from account
Quarterly:                                     Credit card, on-line payment or invoice
                                                        Pre-Authorized Debit from account
Annually:                                       Credit card, on-line payment or invoice
                                                        Pre-Authorized Debit from account

You can pay your invoice "on-line" if your financial institution is any BC Credit Union or bank other than TD Canada Trust, Royal Bank and now the Bank of Nova Scotia.
